Delete your account

In the app (instant)
- Open Maplie and sign in.
- Tap the person icon at the top right of your recipes to open your profile.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm with Delete everything.
It takes effect straight away and needs no follow-up from us.

Can't get into the app? Email hello@maplie.app from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete your account. We'll confirm once it's done, within 30 days at the latest.
What gets deleted
Everything tied to your account: your login, email address, display name and recipe preferences; every recipe you imported along with its original link, extracted text and the photos we stored for it (including photos of cookbook pages); your cookbooks and their covers, grocery lists, meal plans and trays; and any feedback you sent us, with its screenshots. Deletion is permanent and we can't restore an account afterwards.
What we keep
Nothing that identifies you. Routine backups and server logs may hold traces for up to 30 days before they age out, and we don't use them to rebuild deleted accounts. If you joined the waitlist on this site, tell us in the same email and we'll remove that address too.
